Calendar
Our school runs September through June, loosely following the Portland Public Schools’ calendar.

Days and Hours of Operation
The school runs four days per week (Mondays – Thursdays) from 9:00am to 12:30pm.

Children who are new to school start at two days and increase their days over the beginning of the school year at the teacher’s discretion as the child acclimates to the program.

A Typical Day

Our time is short and we try to keep transition to a minimum. However, we do fit a lot into our days. A typical day includes: free play, circle time, snack, reading, and outdoor play.

Field Trips
We incorporate several field trips every school year based on either the seasons or what we are learning about in the classroom. During the winter, we add other ‘on-site’ elements to our weeks such as dance, music, gymnastics or yoga.
